We received such an overwhelming and positive response to Toby Martin’s beautiful piece ‘Youth and Young Manhood’ this week that it seemed like the right thing to do to head off into the weekend sunset with the strains of Youth Groups’ ‘Shadowland’ ringing in our ears. If ever there was a soundtrack to the sentiments expressed in Toby’s piece, it’s this number -partly because it’s penned by the very same person of course – but also because it evokes a similar kind of yearning and nostalgia that it’s no bad thing to experience every once in a while.
